And that’s a wrap on UK FinTech Week! The Upvest team has been all over the city in recent days discussing the bright future of British fintech. 📢 We kicked off the week at the Department for Business and Trade ’s Global FinTech Forum where it was fantastic to hear Gareth Thomas MP celebrating Upvest’s recent expansion to the UK. 🔟 Our UK GM Symmie Swil then headed to 10 Downing Street to take part in a roundtable hosted by Varun Chandra to discuss how the UK can further accelerate fintech growth. 🎤 The team also heard from London Stock Exchange CEO Dame Julia Hoggett on how we can boost the UK’s retail investor population and address the pension timebomb through better systems and regulation. Huge thanks to the team at Department for Business and Trade (especially Katie Ramsey and Roisin Perry ) who have played a key role in supporting the Upvest vision since we touched down in the UK and helped make this week such a success.
