We started Bitwala with one belief. Freedom of transaction. That every human being has the right to move their own money. Without permission. Without limits. Without borders. Without intermediaries deciding who counts and who doesn’t. That belief has cost us things. Banking partners. Investors. Sleep. It has also outlived two crypto winters and one insolvency. The thing about a real conviction is that it doesn’t survive in the deck. It survives in the decisions you make when nobody is watching. We chose self-custody when custody was easier. We backed Bitcoin when stablecoins were the safer pitch. We rebuilt when walking away would have been simpler. Same belief. Eleven years later. Stronger. Freedom of transaction isn’t a feature. It’s why we exist.
