Berlin remains one of the most vibrant blockchain hubs globally – and BerChain e.V. is evolving to meet the moment. We’re proud to introduce our newly elected board for 2025, bringing a renewed strategic focus and diverse expertise across ecosystems and industries.
The New Board of BerChain e.V.:
- President: Daud Zulfacar – A long-standing contributor in the Ethereum ecosystem with deep experience in intellectual property, licensing models, and NFT use cases.
- Vice President: Dr. Alexandra Mikityuk – With a strong background in the corporate tech world and deep tech, Dr. Mikityuk brings expertise from her spin-off work at Deutsche Telekom and years of experience navigating complex industry landscapes.
- Secretary General: Travis Hendrix – An active member of the Solana community and Superteam contributor, with a strong focus on Web3 infrastructure and community development.
Our Strategic Focus Areas for 2025:
1. Smart Matchmaking via AI Chatbot
We’re building an intelligent, AI-powered chatbot to connect industry players, startups, and builders with the right opportunities and collaborators – making discovery and cooperation in the blockchain space easier than ever.
2. Unifying Berlin’s Event Landscape
We aim to bring back cohesion to Berlin’s fragmented event landscape by facilitating better coordination, visibility, and synergy across blockchain-related events, helping the ecosystem speak with a stronger, united voice.
3. Industry Days & Use Case Collaboration
We’re launching a new format called Industry Days, where enterprises, startups, and stakeholders come together to explore real-world blockchain applications, collaborate on new use cases, and align with key partners.
4. Connecting Global Blockchain Hubs
As a global hub, Berlin has much to learn from – and contribute to – other blockchain cities. We’re fostering closer connections between international hubs, enabling knowledge sharing and collaborative momentum through events, member exchanges, and innovation partnerships.
